Be part of the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour! With the price of electricity rising and expected to rise even more in the near future, here is your chance to learn how to get a step ahead!
Two guided bus tours will take you to renewable energy sites in the Mentor area that are harvesting FREE, clean electricity from the sun. You’ll get the chance to view and discuss home and business solar applications, battery-backup systems, electric cars and energy efficiency.
Find out how those near you (including many seniors) have taken advantage of the surprisingly low solar panel prices to achieve energy independence.
Our West Guided Tour bus will leave the Wickliffe Senior Center at 9am on Friday October 2nd and visit sites in western Lake, western Geauga, and eastern Cuyahoga counties
Our East Guided Tour bus will leave the Mentor Senior Center at 9am on Saturday October 3rd and visit sites in Mentor.
Plus stop at the EV Rally at Lakeland College.
The EV Rally will be held at Laketran’s Polivka Transit Center at Lakeland College from 10am until noon on October 3rd. Come check out the dozens of EV models expected to attend, along with electric buses and electric trucks.
