CIFF is one of our favorite hometown events. Northeast Ohio Sierra Club is pleased to announce that we’re partnering with the film Anthropocene.
Steve Bradshaw’s Anthopocene is a 90 minute feature documentary exploring whether to declare a new geological epoch in the history of the Earth. We’re living in the Anthopocene, a term popularized by Paul Crutzen, that defines this artificial planet that we have created.
Is our story a comedy, tragedy, or something completely surreal? Find out with us by checking out Anthropocene screening during the event at Tower City the following days:
Wednesday, April 6th at 11:50 AM
Thursday, April 7th at 2:10 PM
Friday, April 8th at 7:10 PM

For further information, check out the offical Anthropocene screening page on the CIFF40 website.
Beyond Coal is partnering on Cheshire, Ohio, a documentary about the fate of a small town along the Ohio River that was purchased and leveled by a utility company in an attempt to avoid pollution from a coal-fired power plant.
