Yep, it’s that time again! Can you believe the BLACK RIVER CLEAN-UP is only 102 days away?!?! May 7 & 8, 2016 (the first full weekend in May).
Our first Planning Meeting will be this coming Monday, February 1 at the Lorain Public Library Main Branch @ 351 W. 6th St. Meeting Room C (downstairs) from 5:30-7:30pm. We will be discussing the layout and logistics for the day, potential sponsors, volunteer recruitment, fundraising ideas, as well as establishing an official BRCU’16 Planning Committee. If you can be of service or are interested in learning more about any of these topics, please feel free to join us. This meeting is open to the public and will end promptly at 7:30 (or earlier).
Thank you very much for your continued support. We appreciate everything you all do for us. Because of you, we not only removed over 25 tons of debris during BRCU’15, but we also received the Keep Ohio Beautiful award. We can’t wait to see what 2016 holds; it’s going to be a phenomenal year!
