Our members really have some good stuff! Stuff donated to our garage sale, that is! The response to our request for donated items was so great that we were able to have two sales, each one week apart. The sales raised $1600 to help our student leaders get to the Paris Climate Talks and work with the Sierra Club there. We expect to raise more money because a few of the donated items are being sold online.
We had a great team of volunteers who sorted items into categories, set up the sales, were on hand to sell to customers, and who helped with clean-up. It was a huge success and we have decided that we will do it again next fall as a general fundraiser for our club. Thank you to everyone who donated or helped! We have an awesome membership!
