Join Northeast Ohio Sierra Club, Ohio Food & Water Watch, West Shore FACT, and Cleveland Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) for a screening of the critically acclaimed Groundswell Rising, a film about the grassroots movement against fracking. The film will be shown on November 13 from 6pm to 8pm at the Cleveland Heights Main Library, 2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, 44118. Free refreshments will be available at 6pm.
This screening is part of the Global Frackdown, a national effort to highlight the dangers of fracking, especially the toxic waste it produces and the earthquakes it causes. Groundswell Rising highlights stories of communities fighting back against fracking across the country. This event will be an opportunity to engage with groups working to get fracking out of our state. Join us to hear about our efforts in Ohio, and learn how you can be a part of the movement.
This film is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there!
